Sin City Brief

About & Methodology

Our Methodology

A transparent digest of Las Vegas news.

Sin City Brief is an AI-curated news aggregator for Las Vegas, Nevada. We monitor local newsrooms, rewrite headlines and summaries in a consistent voice, and link every story back to the publication that did the reporting. This page explains exactly how that works.

How it works

  1. Monitor. We continuously watch a curated list of Las Vegas news sources — dailies, weeklies, local TV, and independent outlets — for new reporting relevant to our sections.
  2. Rewrite. An AI editor summarizes each story into a fresh headline and a short blurb. The goal is a scannable brief, not a substitute for the original article.
  3. Credit. Every card on this site names the source publication and links directly to the original article. Clicks go to the source, not to a rehosted copy.
  4. Refresh. The feed updates every few minutes throughout the day.

What we cover

Stories are organized into sections that reflect how Las Vegas actually lives and works:

What we don't do

  • No original reporting. We are an aggregator. The journalism belongs to the outlets we link to — please support them.
  • No paywalls. Sin City Brief is free to read. Some source articles may be paywalled by their publishers.
  • No rehosting. We don't republish full articles. Headlines and short summaries only, with a link out.
  • No hidden trackers. We don't build advertising profiles on readers.

Corrections & contact

If a summary misrepresents a source article, or a story is attributed to the wrong outlet, we want to know. Send us a note or email sincitybrief@proton.me and we'll correct or remove the item.
